Our Story
Ember & Oak started in 2017 with a simple belief: food tastes better when it's cooked with real fire, using ingredients from people we trust.
We source from local farms within 50 miles of our kitchen. Our menu changes with the seasons because nature knows best.
Every dish is cooked over an open wood flame — oak, cherry, and applewood — giving each plate a depth of flavor you won't find anywhere else in Portland.
